Connie Y. Rankin, CPM, LEED AP- President

After graduating from The Tuck School of Business ‐ Dartmouth’s Executive Program in 2003, Connie received her Certified Property Manager certificate and LEED AP credentials.In 1981 Connie joined PM Realty Group, the largest third-party commercial real estate firm in the nation. Connie was the first woman to be promoted to Executive Senior Manager during her 20-year tenure with the company. Her comprehensive knowledge of property management, leasing, and construction management, comprising a portfolio with over a million square feet under contract gives her an astute ability to recognize value in well-managed buildings. Connie left PM Realty Group to start Customized Real Estate Services, Inc. (CRES) in 2001, and ten years later developed LEAD 2 GREEN to specialize in green real estate services. In 2008 Connie was the first CEO of a certified woman-owned commercial real estate company in the nation to earn the LEED® Professional Accreditation designation. This designation, awarded by the US Green Building Council, is to distinguish building professionals who have the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED® Certification process. The LEED® AP has a thorough understanding of the practices and principles involved in the LEED®Green Building Rating System.

Joan Gee, CCIM, CPM, RPA

Joan Gee has 30 years of commercial real estate experience and contributes significant knowledge in the industry. She uses her broad experience to accurately determine clients’ needs and matches them with opportunities to arrive at the best decision for their requirements. Joan’s extensive knowledge in property management and leasing makes her a valuable asset in finding value in well managed buildings and at the negotiation table. Ms. Gee’ experience includes previously working for Parkway Properties, Inc. where she managed a building portfolio worth more than $50 million in assets. Joan has negotiated new, expansion and renewal leases totaling 900,000 square feet, and supervised $2.5 million in capital projects and tenant projects. Prior to going to work for Parkway in 1998, she worked for Fults Realty Services managing and leasing 250,000 square feet, and ARES Realty Services as the Assistant Vice President in Property Management and Leasing of Mutual of New York Insurance Company owned properties. Joan is committed to using her broad experience to help our clients make informed decisions.

John R. Greene, CRE, MCR

John has over three decades of experience in all aspects of commercial, industrial and retail real estate working for major Fortune 500 companies including Exxon, Clark Refining, Browning Ferris Industries and Shell Oil. Greene held various positions with Shell including time as the Americas Regional Manager, Transactions, and Projects and Real Estate Development Manager, Nigeria. Throughout his real estate career, John has been involved in dispositions and acquisitions of $100’sMM of properties, portfolio optimizations, and office/retail/industrial leasing activity. John’s education and training include B.S. degree from Sam Houston State University and The Wharton School of Business Executive Education Program. He is the holder of the Master of Corporate Real Estate Designation (MCR) awarded by CoreNet Global, the leading corporate RE professional organization and a member of the prestigious Counselors of Real Estate (CRE).

Ileana Lilly Leija, Bi-lingual Associate

Ileana Lilly Leija Ileana Leija joined CRES + Associates in 2005 specializing in office, retail and industrial space. She is responsible for the bilingual division of CRES working with Hispanic clients to find them the best commercial properties available. Ileana has helped to close over 5 million square feet, and instructurmental in the company being named the Top Fastest Growing Women Business Owner in 2006 & 2009. She is actively involved in her church and the Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance. She has volunteered many hours helping under privileged children, and is a volunteer at the Wesley Community Center working with teens. Ileana helps each year with the WBEA annual golf tournament to raise money to support the scholarship fund. She is attending the Houston Community College as a Business Major. Ileana will use her expertise in commercial real estate and her bilingual ability to assist in locating properties for our clients.
